Calling all Virgin River fans! Netflix has just announced a release date for season 4 of Virgin River, which will premiere on July 20, 2022, and we couldn’t be happier about it. The wait is finally over, and we are getting to see our favorite cast again. If you want to see some sneak peek photos, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. You can find them down below.
Who is in the cast of Season 4?
We can expect to see most of the core group back on our screens, including Jack (Martin Henderson), Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge), Doc (Tim Matheson), ‘Preacher’ (Colin Lawrence), Connie (Nicola Cavendish), and Muriel (Teryl Rothery).
Hope (Annette O’Toole) will also return. Her absence in season 3 was due to COVID-19 restrictions on travel. Luckily, the actress will return in person as Hope for Season 4. Her wit and sarcasm will be back again now.
We will see two new faces in July. Let’s welcome Mark Ghanimé and Kai Bradbury to the Virgin River family. Mark Ghanimé will play Dr. Cameron Hayek, a physician who joins the staff at the clinic. Kai Bradbury will play Doc’s grandson. We already got to see a sneak peek of him in Season 3 when he checked in at Fitches’ Bed & Breakfast and told Jo Ellen (Gwynyth Walsh) that he’s looking for his grandfather, Dr. Vernon Mullins.
What do we know about the plot of Virgin River Season 4?
Mel just told him about. However, there’s also a chance that the baby is actually Mel’s late husband Mark’s (Daniel Gillies). In that case, we may have to prepare ourselves for serious discussions or even a break-up between the two main characters.
In season 3, we also witnessed Preacher being drugged and kidnapped by a woman who we can only assume is working for Vince (Steve Bacic). Hopefully Preacher can escape. We truly don’t want him to get hurt. Maybe there’s a chance that Paige (Lexa Doig) can return to Virgin River without constantly having to look over her shoulder. Who knows?
Brady’s (Benjamin Hollingsworth) proclamation of love for Brie (Zibby Allen) may have started as a casual affair. However, it could soon become a full-fledged relationship.
